Engine Replacement, Rebuilding and Repairs

The mechanic team at The Original Engine Bay are experts in Engine Repair and Replacement, offering a complete car engine rebuild, reconditioning and refurbishing service - full disassembly, engine crack test and inspection, cleaning and renewal of internal components. We can remove the engine from your vehicle and rebuild it as required, or we can fit a changeover engine. All change over engines are HM/GEM and are the highest quality re-manufactured units in Australia. Passenger car engines carry a 12 month unlimited kilometer warranty and a 2 year pro rata warranty. Commercial engines carrying a 12 month unlimited kilometer warranty.

The Engine Bay care about the environment and have Arctick Authorisation to reliably and responsibly conduct automotive air conditioning service (AU27734). ARC Approved Car Air Conditioning Servicing reduces Fuel Costs and protects your health. We are also fully licenced to handle refrigerant gas (L006846) meaning we can service older car air conditioners too.

The Original Engine Bay is now home to state of the art Pico Diagnostic equipment for all of your diagnostic needs. We have also fitted Safe-T-Stop Suspension and Brake test plates for ensuring your Brakes and Suspension are working effectively.

We understand the balance of keeping your car safe without blowing the budget and so we don't believe in replacing parts that don't need replacing, but we always keep your safety in mind and if we can service parts before they cause you a costly breakdown we will always talk with you about it. We never go ahead with extra work without talking to you first.
